Credit Finance Association will deploy Samsung’s KnoxSamsung Electronics has signed a deal to supply the Credit Finance Association with its mobile security platform Knox, the tech company said yesterday.
Under the deal, Samsung will supply 3,000 Knox-embedded Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet PCs to the association of local credit card issuers and secondary loan service providers beginning next month. It is the first time a local financial institution has used the Knox platform, which is part of Samsung’s efforts to increase its B2B sales. In May, the U.S. Department of Defense approved the use of Knox-embedded Samsung phones by its employees.
