Hankook Tire signs MoU with Spanish company for research

Hankook, the nation’s leading tire company, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Thursday with Idiada, a company based in Spain that specializes in automotive design, engineering and testing.

Hankook is building a technical office in Spain, and the MoU relates to joint research on tire performance.

In 1997, Hankook established its Europe Technical Center in Germany. The company expects the new 669-square-meter (7,200-square-foot) office and tire center to become a hub for Hankook’s global expansion.
