The Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning is opening technology facilities next week within its Hanawon resettlement centers for recently defected North Koreans.
The facilities will open at the Gyeonggi and Gangwon Hanawon campuses in a bid to help new defectors better adapt to using cutting-edge technology.
The center will mainly provide free classes on how to use devices such as 3-D printers as well as teach more advanced technology courses with an aim to help defectors become more employable.
