Music show winners to sing together

Three winners of a survival audition program are getting together to host a concert.

Ulala Session, which won “Superstar K3” on cable channel Mnet, will join with Baek Chung-gang, the winner of “The Great Birth” on broadcaster MBC and Son Seung-yeon, the winner of Mnet’s “Voice Korea.”

The three will perform in “Final Concert” on Sept. 14 at Jamsil Sports Complex in Songpa, southern Seoul.

After Baek won the title in 2011, he made his official debut in April 2012. However, he was diagnosed with rectal cancer in August that year and has been focusing on getting treatment. It was reported that he has fully recovered and is gearing up for a comeback this year.

Ulala Session, which defeated Busker Busker down to win the program, debuted in May 2012. Although the leader Lim Yoon-taek died from gastric cancer last year, the group continued working on its music. It released the song “Summer Love” with singer IU in June.

Son became popular on the KBS music show “Immortal Song.”
