KT, the nation’s No. 2 mobile carrier, said yesterday it has built an ICT solution for SLS Las Vegas Hotel in Las Vegas.

SLS Las Vegas Hotel was established in 1952 as the Sahara Hotel and reopened on Aug. 23, local time, with KT’s ICT solution. The hotel has 1,600 rooms.

KT constructed a building energy management system, facility management system, space convergence solution through digital media, and smart content management system.

“Starting with the SLS Las Vegas Hotel, we will seek various cooperation opportunities to apply KT’s solutions in other hotel development business,” said Shin Gyu-sik, vice president at KT’s G&E (Global & Enterprise) division.

KT signed a contract to build the hotel ICT solution worth 15 billion won with the American real estate developer SBE and asset management company Stockbridge Capital Group.
