LG Display’s new LCD plant breaks green ground in ChinaLG Display said its recently completed LCD production factory in Guangzhou has been acknowledged as a “green plant” by the Chinese government, which is a first. The government said its certificate applies all processes from production to disposal.
The certificate evaluations cover 32 categories, including environmental regulations, and energy and resource management.
Starting with the electronics manufacturer the Chinese government plans to apply the certificate in all industries by 2030.
