Asiana Airlines recognized for its first-class wines

Asiana Airlines, the nation’s second largest air carrier, said yesterday it has been selected as the airline serving the the best wine to first-class passengers.
The affiliate of Kumho Asiana Group said that it received the Best Overall International First Class Wines on the Wing award in the U.S. magazine Global Traveler’s “Wines on the Wing” competition.
For the event, airlines are required to submit five wines - two red wines, two white wines and one sparkling wine or champagne - to be eligible for the category.
This the fifth time the airline participated in the wine competition.
Asiana currently serves nine kinds of wine for its first-class passengers, 14 for business class and four for economy.
