Kidman’s father dies in S’pore
SINGAPORE - Actress Nicole Kidman’s father, psychologist Tony Kidman, has died in Singapore, authorities said.Tan Tock Seng Hospital said Kidman was brought there Friday, but would not release any further details. The University of Technology in Sydney, where Kidman worked as a researcher and practitioner for 43 years, confirmed his death.
He reportedly was in Singapore to visit his other daughter, Antonia, and her family.
Singapore police did not identify him by name, but said in a statement that a man in his 80s was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead. Media reports said he fell.
Messages for Nicole Kidman’s publicist were not immediately returned.
