Descente Korea recalls swim shorts for skin inflammation

Descente Korea, a sports fashion company, announced yesterday that it will recall swimming shorts it sells made by Le Coq Sportif following a recommendation from the Korea Consumer Agency.
The agency began examining the surfing shorts after a consumer reported having skin problems while wearing them. It found the unsatisfactory stitching of the lining material could cause skin inflammation and informed Descente Korea.
The recall applies to 1,529 swimming shorts (model number Q422HP3591), produced in April this year. About 1,400 of the products in circulation have been collected.
