Stars come out for Games

Psy was not the only mega star to gallop into Incheon’s Asiad Stadium yesterday. A ton of K-pop stars, heartthrob actors and top actresses graced the opening ceremony of the 2014 Incheon Asian Games, which kicked off at 6 p.m.

K-pop trio JYJ sang the theme song “Only One,” as well as their English-language song “Empty,” after the Asian Games’ flame was lit.

Boy group Exo showed off their hit songs, followed by a finale by Psy.

Because veteran film directors Im Kwon-taek and Jang Jin were the directors of the opening ceremony, top actors such as Kim Soo-hyun and Jang Dong-gun also showed up.

Sistar and Big Bang will perform during the Oct. 4 closing ceremony at 6 p.m. at the same venue.
