[MEDAL REPORT] Shooting

Swimming

Korean swimming icon Park Tae-hwan failed to win a gold medal again, settling for bronze in the men’s 400-meter freestyle last night at Munhak Park Tae-hwan Aquatics Center in Incheon. Park finished the event in 3:48.33 seconds. Sun Yang of China won the gold medal and 200-meter freestyle gold medalist Kosuke Hagino of Japan took silver. Park was going for gold in his third straight Asian Games, but has won three bronze. “I had trouble improving my physical condition lately,” Park said after the race. “I think I was pressured a lot because the event was held at home. I felt tired in the later part of the race and failed to catch up.”
