Taekwondo
Korean players will be searching for medals as they compete in the birthplace of taekwondo. Song Yeong-geon will face Saudi Arabia’s Hani Helal Almutrafi in the men’s under 74-kilogram (163-pound) round of 32 and Park Seon-ah will face Jordan’s Dana Haider Izzat Touran in the women’s under 49-kilogram round of 16 at the Ganghwa Dolmens Gymnasium at 9:30 a.m.

Park Jin-a will face India’s Laishram Sarita Devi in the women’s light semifinal at Seonhak Gymnasium at 2 p.m.
