Crayon Pop signs with Japanese label

Crayon Pop has signed with Japanese music label Pony Canyon and will debut in Japan early next year, according to the girl group’s agency, Chrome Entertainment.

The five-member band made a name for itself last year with the hit “Bar Bar Bar,” as well as its unique choreography and quirky stage outfits.

Before the Japanese debut, Crayon Pop will release an EP on Nov. 19 for Korean fans.

Pony Canyon is one of Japan’s largest music distributors. It has released albums from many Korean musicians such as Jang Keun-suk and B1A4 in Japan.
