Girl group T-ara will leave for Beijing today to expand their presence in China, according to Core Contents Media yesterday.
T-ara’s official schedule in China will begin with a press conference where about 100 local journalists from online and offline publications are reportedly registered for the media event. The six members aim to promote their hits for about a month in China.
The band, which is well-known for hits like “Bo Peep Bo Peep” and “Roly-Poly,” has signed a $4.7 million contract last month with Chinese entertainment agency Longzhen Cultural Development, which has hosted concerts for Chinese stars such as Andy Lau and Cheung Hok Yau.
