Actor Lee Min-ho’s second project album “Song for You” topped the Japanese Oricon daily album chart yesterday, only three days after the album’s release.
Designed for Japanese fans, the second project album consists of five pop-rock tracks, including the title track.
When the 27-year-old actor released his first project album in Japan last May it also ranked first in the Japanese music chart.
“Without promotion and TV appearances [for this album], this has become the most sought-after album in Japan and we highly appreciate it,” said an official from Lee’s agency Starhaus Entertainment in a press release.
Lee began a global fan meet event in Beijing starting earlier this month and is scheduled to see his Japanese fans today.
He is also shooting a film titled “Gangnam Blues,” which is slated to open in December.
