Pitt will visit Korea ahead of ‘Fury’

Hollywood actor Brad Pitt is coming to Korea next month to promote his latest film “Fury,” which will hit theaters nationwide on Nov. 20.

According to the film’s Korean distributor, Sony Pictures Releasing Walt Disney Studios Korea, the 51-year-old actor will visit Seoul for a third time on Nov. 13, along with his colleague Logan Lerman.

“Fury” is a film set in World War II that centers on the story of Wardaddy (Pitt) who has just a worn-down tank called “Fury” and five extremely burnt out crew members. But the group is ordered to fight against hundreds of thousands of enemy troops on the front line.

On his two previous visits to Seoul, Pitt earned the nickname “bbang ajeossi,” or Mr. Bread, because the star’s first name sounds similar to “bread.”

The visit is Pitt’s first public move after marrying his long-time partner Angelia Jolie in August.
