Peugeot 2008 crossover draws plenty of preorders
Hanbul Motors, importer of Peugeot, said yesterday that in just five days it received preorders for 600 units of the Peugeot 2008, which is scheduled to be released in Korea tomorrow.
The new Peugeot is a small crossover utility vehicle first released in Europe in April 2013. It sold more than 100,000 units in 12 months of its release.
The vehicle released in Europe has outstanding fuel economy. The 1.6-liter diesel engine model has a fuel economy of 26.3 kilometers per liter (61 miles per gallon).
The base model is expected to sell for about 25 million won ($23,700) in Korea.
