GM Korea hosts conference to encourage female leadership

GM Korea, the nation’s third-largest automaker, held the conference “Women in Innovation” yesterday for their female employees as part of efforts to create global leaders.

About 350 staff members and executives from the company, including CEO Sergio Rocha, participated in the event held at Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel in Guro District, southwestern Seoul. Around 100 personnel from partner companies also attended.

Participants shared the experiences upper-ranking female staff have had and studied communication skills.
