Russell Crowe ‘excited’ for Korea visit
Kiwi actor Russell Crowe will visit Seoul for the first time in January, according to Doublenjoy Pictures, an importer of Crowe’s recent film “The Water Diviner.”
The 50-old-old actor plays a lead role in the historical drama film, which he also directed.
The film is about an Australian farmer who loses his three sons during war. It depicts his journey as a father when he travels to Turkey to find his missing offspring.
Many of Crowe’s films, such as “Noah” (2014), “Man of Steel” (2013) and “Les Miserables” (2012), have become hits in Korea, but Crowe has never visited.
On Thursday, Crowe tweeted the message “I’m going to visit South Korea for the first time in January. Excited.”
