Korea Post says to mail holiday parcels by early December

Korea Post said people should finish sending their Christmas gifts overseas by the first and second weeks of December because overseas shipping usually takes longer during the holiday season.
The state-run post office on Thursday released its parcel submission deadlines, which differ by continent. For a package to arrive to its destination via regular air mail by Dec. 25, the Seoul-based sender must go to the post office by Dec. 5 for parcels to Europe, North America, India and the Middle East.
Parcels to East Asian countries like Japan, China and Hong Kong should be sent by Dec. 11, and those to Southeast Asian countries, Australia and New Zealand by Dec. 10. The senders must be sure to include a postal code to expedite delivery.
