SK Telecom and KT taking orders for iPad Air 2, mini 3

SK Telecom and KT announced Friday they will start selling Apple’s iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 next month.

Customers can preorder the tablets on their websites, at T World Direct or Olleh Shop. SK Telecom will carry the LTE version, while KT will carry both the LTE and Wi-Fi versions.

The iPad Air 2 has an HD camera and fingerprint sensors.

It weighs 437 grams (0.96 pounds) and is 6.1 millimeters (0.24-inches) thick

The battery lasts up to 10 hours. The iPad mini 3 is similar to its predecessor, mini 2, but has a Touch ID fingerprint sensor.

The iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 come in three storage sizes: 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB.

The Wi-Fi versions are about 150,000 won ($136) cheaper than the LTE versions, which range from 732,600 won to 974,600 won for the iPad Air 2 and 634,700 won to 876,700 won for the iPad mini 3.
