7-Eleven to start deliveries within 300 meters of a store
Convenience store chain 7-Eleven said that it will provide delivery services for customers who purchase more than 10,000 won ($9) of products.Customers can make an order by phone or in person and the convenience store will deliver any item to a location within 300 meters (984 feet) of the 7-Eleven.
Four branches of the convenience store in Sogong-dong, Mokdong, Gongneung and Gangnam District will start the service, which will be expanded later.
A phone order can be made any time, but delivery is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Along with the new service, the convenience store chain under Lotte Group will also start using beacon technology, which is designed to locate customers inside a store and sent them coupons and information about discounts.
