g.o.d. to guest star at Psy’s concerts
Good news for g.o.d. fans: the reunited band will perform at singer-rapper Psy’s year-end concerts.The “Gangnam Style” star will hold five shows later this month at Bangyi-dong, southeastern Seoul, but g.o.d. will appear as a guest just once.
It is still unclear when the five-member K-pop band will perform.
Before the group disbanded in 2005, Psy and g.o.d. often featured in each other’s concerts as guests.
The popular band reunited after a decade earlier this year. The reunion was an unprecedented hit with the band’s albums and concerts selling out.
After the reunion, the group’s last official event on its schedule was a concert in New Jersey in November, but fans are able to see the band once again during Psy’s concert.
Meanwhile, Kim Tae-woo, a vocalist in the band, will release a digital single as a solo artist on Tuesday.
Entitled “Two,” the song is based on the bossa nova genre and “was made for couples who want to spend quality time with their loves ones at the end of the year,” according to Soul Shop Entertainment, Kim’s agency.
Kim wrote the lyrics for the song.
