Kumho Asiana Group sponsors ninth Korean contest in China
Kumho Asiana Group said on Thursday it will hold a Korean-speaking competition Saturday at Sichuan International Studies University in Chongqing, China.This is the ninth year the chaebol will sponsor the event following an order from the group chairman, Park Sam-koo, who heads the Korea-China Friendship Association.
Kumho Asiana said 25 college students who passed the preliminary round last month will compete, and all will have a chance to visit Korea next year for a week at the invitation of the group. The top three finishers will receive scholarships sponsored by Kumho Tire.
