BIA4 helps others for winter
Boy group B1A4 has donated charcoal briquettes to those who need to heat their homes, according to Limited Edition Korea, a smartphone case manufacturer.
When an individual purchases a smartphone case that is produced as part of the company’s “Happy Together” campaign, 10 briquettes are donated to Briquettes Bank under his or her name. The bank is operated by Bapsang Community, one of the nation’s charitable organizations.
All five members of B1A4 bought the Happy Together cases, and Limited Edition Korea shared photos of the boy group members holding their smartphone covers.
“We’ve realized that fewer and fewer people are donating briquettes, so we decided to be a part of the campaign,” said B1A4 in a press release Friday.
“We’ll promote this campaign so that more people can take part in it.”
“Happy Together” began early this month, and many celebrities including Yoo Jae-suk and members of Apink and Got7 have been purchasing the smartphone covers.
