More details revealed in air rage case

R&B singer Bobby Kim came under fire for causing a disturbance on an airplane on Friday, but more details about the case have been revealed, according to Ilgan Sports, an affiliate of the Korea JoongAng Daily.

In an exclusive report by Ilgan Sports, one of the cabin crew members who was working on the flight during the incident stated that “the singer tried to make physical contact three times” with a flight attendant, without giving further details.

According to Korean Air, Kim became intoxicated five hours after boarding the airplane and spent about an hour shouting at flight attendants and making sexually suggestive comments.

The airline also stated that the singer tried to touch a female crew member’s waist and arms.

Ilgan Sports reported on Monday that the singer had been mistakenly seated in economy by a Korean Air flight attendant.

The 42-singer upgraded his seat from economy to business using his mileage when he left for San Francisco to meet his sister, who lives there, but his upgraded business ticket was given to someone else with a similar name to the singer.

Kim is currently staying in the United States and was investigated by the FBI upon his arrival in San Francisco at the request of Korean Air.
