JYJ’s Kim to release third solo album

Kim Jun-su, a member of the K-pop trio JYJ, will collaborate with rapper-actor Yang Dong-geun for Kim’s upcoming third solo album slated to be released March 3.

In his third solo album, entitled “Flower,” Kim said he hoped to show different sides of his personality.

Actor-rapper Yang penned the rap lyrics on one track, while Kim put together the composition, according to his agency, CJeS Entertainment.

The agency added that, “Kim has been involved in the entire production process for his third album - from designing the cover to detailed collaboration plans.”

After releasing the record, Kim will begin a concert tour of Asia, with the first destination to be Osaka, Japan.

He will also perform solo on March 7 and 8 at the sold-out 2015 Xia Third Asia Tour Concert in Seoul at Olympic Park.

Kim’s first studio album “Tarantallegra” (2012) sold 120,000 copies, which was followed by “Incredible.”

On his second mini-album in 2013, Kim experimented with several genres, from R&B and dance to funk and neo soul.
