Researcher at Kaeri appointed to OECD’s nuclear agency

The agency is an intergovernmental group under the OECD that mainly works on nuclear power and reactor safety.
This is the first time that a Korean has been appointed to an executive position at the OECD’s nuclear division since Korea joined the group in 1993.
Ha is scheduled to take office next month and will be working on OECD member government’s nuclear policy and economic feasibility.
Ha studied nuclear engineering at Seoul National University and Ohio State University, and is an expert in nuclear reactors with 25 years of experience specializing in nuclear power plant safety, research-purpose reactors and small-scale reactors.
