Olymic medalist wins gold at European Open

Olympic medalist judoka Wang Ki-chun won the gold medal in the men’s 81-kilogram (179-pound) category in the 2015 European Open in Warsaw on Sunday, local time, after beating Leandro Guilheiro of Brazil with yuko.

This is first international victory for Wang since he changed his weight class from 73 to 81 kilograms in 2013. In Korea, the 26-year-old already had victory in the 81-kilogram class in November.

Wang was the silver medalist in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.
