Baek gears up for solo concertSinger Baek Ji-young will hold her first solo concert in the Philippines next month.
Music Works, the singer’s agency, recently announced that the 39-year-old’s concert, titled “Close Up 2015,” will be held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater on April 15.
The concert venue accommodates up to 1,500 people.
“She will sing a wide range of her hit songs, from dances to ballads,” an official from the agency said. “She will also sing a live version of ‘Because of You,’ an original song from the soundtrack for the drama series ‘Hyde, Jekyll, Me.’”
Baek made her debut in 1999, and has proven to be one of the most prolific soloists over the years.
Her hits include “Don’t Forget,” “That Woman” and “I Won’t Love.”
Many of her most popular hits include original soundtrack songs from popular drama series.
After her performance in the Philippines, Baek will fly to Tokyo, where she will put on another solo concert on April 29.
