KT&G releases new super-slim cigarette with cigar leaf
The Korean tobacco and ginseng company KT&G announced Monday it is the world’s first company to introduce a 100 millimeter super-slim cigarette, Bohem Cigar slim fit, that includes cigar leaf.KT&G said the cigarette contains 20 percent cigar leaf from South America iand Cuba. The company said the filter has a capsule that provides a different taste for smokers.
The packages come in two looks: brown and white.
“The local super slim cigarette market is steadily growing, particularly among consumers who are in their 20s and 30s,” said Kwon Min-seok, head of the Bohem department at KT&G.
“It takes up roughly 30 percent of the domestic cigarette market.
The retail price of the cigarette is 4,500 won ($4.04).
