Daesung’s Kim named co-chairman of forum committee

Younghoon David Kim, Daesung Group chairman, was named co-chairman of the organizing committee for the World Water Forum that is to be launched next month in Daegu and Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang.

The committee consists of industry experts, government officials and international organization officials.

The water forum has been held every three years since 1997.

The organizing committee said they chose Kim for his leadership and wide international network. Kim co-chaired the Daegu World Energy Congress in 2013 and is also co-chairman of the World Energy Council.

Daesung Group has been providing various energy related services in numerous underdeveloped countries with renewable energies including Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh and Ethiopia.
