SuJu singer to star in movie

Thriller film “Helios,” featuring Choi Si-won, a member of the K-pop boy group Super Junior, will be released April 30 at theaters in China.
According to multiple Chinese news outlets on Friday, the Hong Kong film featuring Choi and other Korean actors such as Ji Jin-hee of “Dae Jang Geum” (2003-2004) and Yoon Jin-yi of “Discovery of Love” (2014) will be unveiled to Chinese fans first.
The film centers on the story of a group of terrorists who steal nuclear weapons produced in Korea and an association of multinational investigation troops from Korea, China and Hong Kong that stand against the terrorists.
The film is directed by Sunny Luk.
Choi debuted as a member of Super Junior in 2005, but he has been focusing more on his acting career in recent years.
Most recently, the 28-year-old singer-actor starred in historical action film “Dragon Blade,” featuring Hong Kong actor Jackie Chan and U.S. actor John Cusack.
