Going green
Grand Hyatt Seoul decorates its bar, J.J. Mahoney’s, in emerald hues for the party “Go Green at JJ’s” on Thursday. The event is to commemorate St. Patrick’s Day, which is celebrated globally to remember the foremost saint of Ireland and Irish culture in general. The hotel is set on embracing foreign traditions here in Korea. The party is open to the public for free. To accentuate the green theme, the hotel will serve Heineken, which comes in a green bottle, alongside other drinks. The hotel will also turn on green lights around its main door in Yongsan, central Seoul, and around its outdoor water fountain to greet guests visiting for the occasion. Provided by the hotel
