Beast establishes indie label in Japan

테스트

K-pop boy group Beast has established an independent music label, Beast Music, in Japan, according to Cube Entertainment, the six-member boy group’s agency.

Beast held a press conference in Tokyo, Japan, on Monday and shared more details about the indie label.

Many K-pop musicians have been advancing into the Japanese music market over the past years but none has established a label of its own.

Beast said it will release a digital single every month in Japan from this month to December through the company.

The first digital single, “One,” was unveiled through iTunes on Tuesday. The song topped the iTunes hip-hop chart in Japan upon its release.

To commemorate the launch of the music label, the K-pop band will organize large-scale fan meets in Japan, starting in May.

Beast debuted in the music scene in 2009 by releasing a digital single album “Beast is the B2ST.”

The boy group released three digital singles last year alone in Korea but it will focus more on overseas performances this year.
