Cheil Worldwide big winner at Asia Pacific ad awards

Cheil Worldwide, the ad agency arm of Samsung Group, said it has swept awards in 13 categories at the annual Asia Pacific Advertising Festival, known as AP AdFest, last week in Pattaya, Thailand.

The company says it is the largest number of awards a Korean company has won at the ad festival, which was founded in 1998, breaking Cheil’s own record of 11 in 2013.

The “Look At Me” campaign created for Samsung Electronics by the advertising company won four awards. The campaign shows the development project of an app that is designed to help children suffering from autism to have better communication with others. Using the app, children with autism practice expressing their emotions.
