Rapper Simon D, a former member of now-defunct K-pop group Supreme Team, will be making a solo comeback in the first half of this year.
According to several music insiders, although a specific date has not been determined, the rapper is currently working on his new album.
Although he released the song “Money Don’t Lie” in 2014 after transferring to a new agency, it is the first time for Simon D to officially release a solo album.
He is also currently working as a co-representative of AOMG, his agency, with rapper Jay Park.
Other rappers plan to participate in the new album.
Simon D made an official debut as a member of Supreme Team in 2009 with his first album, ”Supreme Team Guide to Excellent Adventure.” He released many hit songs including “Supermagic” and “Where U At?”
Supreme Team broke up in July 2013 when the team’s former agency Amoeba Culture refused to renew a contract with E SENS who was the other member of Supreme Team.
