SS501 singer holds fan event

Singer-actor Kim Hyung-jun, a former member of now-defunct boy group SS501, held his first fan meet-up in Korea in two years on Saturday.

The 27-year-old singer sang his hit “Not Another Woman but You” and interacted with his fans by telling them stories he had heard from listeners as a radio DJ during the last five years. He also sang songs requested by the fans who attended.

In addition, Alberto Mondi of JTBC’s program “Non-Summit,” who plays on the celebrity soccer team “FC Avengers” along with Kim, appeared during the event and the two entertainers directly interacted with the fans by listening and talking about their worries.

“I will work harder to make you feel proud to be my fans and thank you for coming to the event,” said Kim at the fan meet event.

Kim debuted with boy group SS501 in 2005. The boy group had various hit songs, including “Warning” and “Snow Prince.” But since the band broke up in 2009, he has been pursuing a solo career. He will release a solo album in July and plans to perform abroad.
