Big Bang debuts new songs


Boy group Big Bang’s two new songs, “Loser” and “Bae Bae,” released at midnight on Friday topped 10 domestic music charts, including Melon, Genie and Bugs, taking either first or second place.
“Loser” also topped the iTunes singles charts of ten countries, including Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore. It also gained attention in American and European countries, placing 68th on the iTunes singles chart in the United States, 51st in Canada and 81st in the United Kingdom.
The band’s music videos are also enjoying popularity. The music video for “Loser” enjoyed over 1.6 million views within eight hours of its release on YouTube. The video for “Bae Bae” also got over 1.4 million hits.
The group will release new songs at the beginning of each month from May to August, releasing the full album, “Made,” in September.
Big Bang kicked off their world tour in Seoul on April 25 and 26. The world tour, which is expected to last until next year, will include around 70 performances in 15 countries.
