CJ Group offers to donate supplies during emergencies

테스트

CJ Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Public Safety and Security to provide food, medication and transportation vehicles, including drones, for rescue efforts in times of emergencies.

The food-to-entertainment group said on Thursday it will provide food and beverages from CJ Cheiljedang, first-aid kits from CJ Healthcare, and drones, snowmobiles and ground motor vehicles from CJ Korea Express.

Drones, operated by CJ Korea Express, would be capable of transporting up to 3 kilograms (6.6 pounds) and travel 20 kilometers (12.5 miles) in 20 minutes.

Drones also could be used to take real-time images of sites and collect information, though details of precisely how they would be used have not yet been discussed with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport.
