Model Jang Yoon-ju ties knot
Top model Jang Yoon-ju, 34, was wed Friday to a businessman in the fashion industry four years her junior, at Somang Church in Gangnam, southern Seoul.Around 700 guests, including celebrities and popular models such as Lee Hyun-yi, attended the ceremony.
“The wedding took place in a pious and quiet manner,” said a representative affiliated with Jang’s modeling agency, Esteem Models.
“Singer Lee Juck sang ‘Do You Want to Walk with Me,’ a piece Jang personally chose to celebrate her wedding.”
Jang first met her groom in October and the pair began dating since January. The newlyweds travelled to Paris today for their honeymoon.
She started her modeling career in 1997, going on to become one of the most celebrated fashion models in the industry. Her popularity also increased after appearing as a host on the reality TV show “Korea’s Next Top Model” (2010-2014).
