After President Park Geun-hye expressed outrage over a revision to a parliamentary law passed Friday that empowers lawmakers to demand changes in enforcement decrees, Lee Jong-kul, lawyer and floor leader of the country’s main opposition party, said the legislature must have the right to make revisions if the law has been contradicted. Ruling Saenuri Party Chairman Kim Moo-sung stepped back, saying his party must first see if the revision is really unconstitutional.
