GM Korea names Microsoft’s Kim as president and COO

GM Korea announced Wednesday that James Kim, chief of Microsoft Korea, has been appointed as president and chief operating officer. He is expected to join GM Korea on June 15. Kim graduated with an economics degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and received his MBA from Harvard University. He is in his second term as chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea, the first Korean-American to hold that post.
