Hyuna to return in August
“Although she is aiming for August, nothing has been decided yet,” the company said.
The 23-year-old’s new album will come out around a year since she last released her solo single “Red” in July.
Hyuna, who is renowned for her dance skills, rose to fame as a rapper in JYP’s girl group Wonder Girls, which debuted in 2007 with the single “The Wonder Begins.”
However, she left the group due to health issues in the same year.
Hyuna reappeared in 2009 as a member of 4Minute with the single “Hot Issue,” which went on to sell four million copies.
The singer started going solo on the side by participating in various reality programs and releasing records.
A few of the musician’s solo albums that gained huge following include “Trouble Maker” and “Bubble Pop.”
