Hong to bring out 3rd single

Soloist Hong Dae-kwang will release his third single on June 18, according to his agency, CJ E&M, on Tuesday.

“The new album shows Hong’s sweet and clear voice, along with his musical color,” the company said. “Many boy and girl groups are releasing new albums in June and it remains to be seen whether Hong’s upcoming album will succeed in filling up a niche in the market.”

The singer’s return comes a year after he unveiled his last digital single, “Good Luck,” which gained a huge following.

Hong posted an image showing himself happily smiling at a mysterious woman through his official social media page on Tuesday morning.

After releasing the single, the 30-year-old will hold his third solo concert, “Confession on One Summer Night” (working title), on June 27 and 28.

Hong first gained public attention through season four of M.net’s survival audition program “Superstar K” (2012), in which he came in fourth. He first released his album, “Far Away,” in 2013. In addition to his albums, he has also been taking part in several programs such as season two of “Lets Go! Dream Team” (2014) and “Immortal Songs” (2014).
