YG’s iKON to debut at end of August
New boy band iKON will be the third YG Entertainment group to release an album this year, after hip-hop duo Jinusean and the popular boy group Big Bang.
“iKON is scheduled to make their debut at the end of August, when Big Bang’s ‘MADE SERIES,’ [a project in which the boy band is releasing a single every month from May to August], is almost completed,” according to a culture industry insider on Wednesday.
Even though the boy band with seven members has not officially debuted yet, they have already gained many fans since appearing in various survival audition programs such as “Win: Who is Next,” “Mix & Match” and season three of “Show Me the Money.”
