Star’s Jeju house up for sale?
According to local magazine Women’s Central, the 36-year-old singer decided to put the house on the market because she wasn’t able to enjoy the relaxing life she had expected from Jeju Island.
The publication further mentioned that Lee could no longer handle the stress from being deprived of her privacy, with many tourists visiting the home as part of their travel itineraries.
The report added that she plans to stay on Jeju after selling her house, opting against returning to Seoul.
The renowned singer denied the news, however, and told various Korean media outlets later on the same day that the report regarding putting up her house for sale is absolutely not true.
“Lee has no plans to sell the house and she and her husband have never thought of leaving the place,” one of Lee’s associates told SBS funE.
Lee and her husband, Lee Sang-soon, wed in September 2013 at the home where they currently reside.
The house appeared on the MBC reality program “Infinite Challenge” early this year, and since then, more people have reportedly been stopping by the singer’s home.
