Samsung wins crown once again for best televisions
Samsung Electronics received the best mark in a consumer satisfaction survey for televisions in all categories, according to market research firm J.D. Power.
The tech giant achieved the highest ratings for both under-50 inch and larger than 50 inch TV sets. Samsung is enjoying the top position for the second year in a row.
Vizio, an American consumer electronics company, was ranked second, followed by LG Electronics and Sony.
Vizio secured the overall top spot in 2012 and 2013 but plummeted to third place in the latest under 50-inch TV survey in 2014. LG Electronics came in at second place.
Samsung Electronics is the world’s largest TV maker. As of May, it holds a 34.1 percent share in the global TV market.
In terms of TVs larger than 65 inches, Samsung currently has a 43.6 percent share.
