MBC’s Kim to serve as director of MBN

News reporter and anchor Kim Ju-ha, who formerly worked for MBC, made an appearance on Wednesday morning as the new director of broadcasting company MBN.

The newswoman is expected to run 8 p.m. prime-time news, after further negotiations.

Kim joined MBC as a newscaster in 1997 and worked in that position until 2004, when she became a reporter. She covered diverse fields, from national to economic affairs, and was honored with an award from MBC in 2005 for her exclusive coverage of stories.

After filing a divorce lawsuit last year, the reporter has been working in the online news department of MBC, from which she resigned in March.
