Korean boy band High4 will release their second Japanese single “Hi Summer” on July 11, according to their talent agency, N.A.P Entertainment, on Saturday.
“Twenty thousand copies have already been pre-ordered,” the agency said, indicating how popular the boy band is in the country.
The group joined forces with Japanese entertainment company Marble Entertainment in February and released an album, “High Five,” which hit No.1 at Tower Records Shibuya, Japan’s largest record store.
Their previous Japanese album was also ranked No. 8 on the Oricon Albums Chart, which is based on the number of physical albums sold.
Along with the new album, the boy band is scheduled to hold live concerts in Japan from July to August and also in Mexico in October.
In Korea, High4 is known for their seasonal song “Not Spring, Love or Cherry Blossoms,” in which the popular female singer IU features.
